About Nicholas Romanowsky

My love for creating art began at an early age. I remember taking drawing lessons, and learning how to draw landscapes. I was always bored trying to draw something out of a book, I wanted to create something new and original. I began producing music when I was in high school. I loved creating hip-hop beats, sampling old soul and jazz records, piecing together a beat. I began painting about 13 years ago. I was inspired by my father and paintings by Basquiat and Pollack. I began to try new things, and started painting large abstract faces, and writing poetry to go along with the idea of the painting. While creating different kinds of art, I have been helping children with autism the last decade. I really enjoy helping children with autism, and look forward to teaching in special education for years to come.
